DESCRIPTIONS 

                                            ASSOCIATES DEGREE

To begin the Freshman Year Program, you must be at least 16 years of age and hold a HS Diploma, GED or equivalent.  You will need to complete thirty-(30) credit hrs. or ten (10) courses.       

Tuition is $65.00 per credit hour plus books or $180.00 per course, which includes book for the course.

To begin the Junior Year Program, the candidate must be at least 16 years of age and have at least 60-credit hrs., or equivalent. The candidate will need to complete thirty-(30) credit hrs., or ten (10) courses.

THC-4040 Christian Theology (3) A detailed and involved study of Biblical Theology. The attributes, decrees and doctrines of the Bible are intricately examined

THO-4060 Theology of the Rest Day   A complete research of the history of Sunday of how the change came about from Saturday to Sunday in early Christianity. A complete theological study of the Christian Sabbath in the light of the New Testament back to the Old Testament to establish which day is the Christian Sabbath. This is an interesting course for both, Saturday and Sunday keepers.

 PSL-3040 Church Growth.  (3) This subject is approached from a Scriptural and Theological point. The Biblical framework for defining strategic and operating principles for church growth is explored.

 PSL-3070 The Modern Preacher. (3) This course seeks to explore the results of recent biblical scholarly studies pertaining to preaching and to link the disciplines of biblical hermeneutics and homiletics. 

 PSL-3090 Pastoral Counseling.  (3) This course is a model-based course geared to address the pressures of counseling that pastors face within the church.

 PSL-4000 Preaching from the Old Testament. (3) This course exposes the student to a Contemporary Hermeneutical Method.
